Pole Foundations

These classes focus on teaching the technical skills for a variety of pole dance tricks, spins, and combinations, dependent on the level.

These classes primarily cover static tricks and combinations, though spinny tricks may also be included. For full spinning choreographies, we recommend joining one of our Spin Pole classes.

We currently offer 5 levels of Pole Foundations:

  • Pole Foundations Intro: This class is ideal for complete beginners looking to start their pole journey. Over 10 classes you’ll learn all the essential basics of pole dancing, and you can jump in at any time - no need to wait for a new series to start! To move up to the next level, Pole Foundations 1, you need to have attended at least 10 classes of Pole Foundations Intro or have previous pole dance experience.

  • Pole Foundations 1: This is the beginner level that covers the beginner spins and tricks. In these classes you perfect what you learned in the Pole Foundations Intro classes and you learn how to combine tricks on the pole. You also get a taste of going upside down on the pole, taught in a safe and constructive way.

    Requirements: you followed 10 classes of Pole Foundations Intro or you have previous pole dance experience.

  • Pole Foundations 2: This level emphasizes perfecting beginner combinations on the pole and mastering smooth transitions between tricks. These classes also expand on inversion techniques, teaching you how to effortlessly integrate them with other moves.

    Requirements: Comfortable in Inverted Crucifix, Outside Leg Hang and Inside Leg Hang (all with no hands).

  • Pole Foundations 3: This level focuses on mastering longer combinations on the pole, incorporating both upright and inverted tricks. In this level, you’ll explore other inverting techniques such as the Shoulder Mount and Reiko Invert, while also beginning to develop the skills needed for aerial inverts. You’ll also learn how to perform your Inverted D, as well as mastering the True Grip and Twisted Grip Ayesha.

    Requirements: Brass Monkey, Extended Butterfly, Superman, Cross Knee Release

  • Pole Foundations 4: This level is the highest level currently offered at the studio. In this level, you’ll tackle more challenging and dynamic combinations on the pole. You’ll work towards mastering skills like the Elbow Grip and Cup Grip Ayesha, Handspring, Iron-X, as well as the True Grip and Twisted Grip Phoenix.

    Requirements: Aerial inverts, Shoulder Mount, Twisted Grip Ayesha, True Grip Ayesha, Iguana

Spin Pole

These classes are designed to teach you the art of fluid movement and tricks on a spinning pole. These classes focus on mastering spin-based techniques and transitions while learning an elegant spinning choreography.

We currently offer multiple levels in Spin Pole to suit your experience and skill:

  • Spin Pole 1: In this level we build a beautiful spinning choreography with beginner tricks, emphasizing fluidity, and effortless transitions moving from one pose to the next.
    Requirements: Experience in Pole Foundations 1 classes

  • Spin Pole 2: In these classes, we begin to spend a longer time on the pole and we take our first steps toward exploring upside-down movements while the pole is spinning.
    Requirements: Experience in Pole Foundations 2 classes

  • Spin Pole 3: The third level of Spin Pole teaches more challenging choreographies on the pole, combining upright and inverted tricks with flawless transitions. We also train aerial spinning inverts.
    Requirements: Experience in Pole Foundations 3 classes

  • Spin Pole 4: Currently this is the hight level we offer in our Spin Pole classes. In this level we learn longer choreographies, adding more advanced tricks to the mix.

    Requirements: Experience in Pole Foundations 4 classes

Pole Flow

Pole Flow classes focus on teaching a graceful choreography around the pole. The emphasis is on achieving fluidity and seamless transitions between movements, combined with floorwork, creating an effortless and polished flow. These classes you can follow wearing joggers and socks. Don’t forget to bring your kneepads!

We currently offer 2 levels in Pole Flow:

  • Pole Flow Intro: These flow classes are designed for beginners in pole dance, with little to no experience, that want to explore the more dancing aspect of pole dance.

    Requirements: None

  • Pole Flow: This level teaches flow choreographies with a faster pace and more intricate movements.

    Requirements: Comfortable with beginner spins and pirouettes

High Heels Flow

High Heels Flow classes focus on mastering a stunning choreograpyh, that combines pole dance techniques with floorwork and dynamic movements. The routines are designed to be performed in heels. While you're welcome to try out a class without them, it's recommended to invest in a pair over time to fully embrace the style.

We currently offer two levels in High Heels Flow:

  • High Heels Flow Intro: These introduction classes are ideal for beginners with little to no pole dance experience who want to explore the more sensual and empowering side of pole.

    Requirements: None

  • High Heels Flow: In this level we learn a more fast-paced choreography, combined with exotic dance tricks.

    Requirements: Comfortable with beginner spins and pirouettes

Be sure to bring your high heels and kneepads.

Shape Shifting

Shape Shifting classes offer the perfect combination of flexibility and pole work.

Each class begins with a comprehensive warm-up, featuring both active and passive flexibility exercises to prepare your body and increase your mobility. Once warmed up, we move to the pole, where you’ll use your enhanced flexibility to create beautiful flexy shapes and flowing combinations.

Requirements: Pole Foundations 2 and up

Flexibility

Unlock your full range of motion with our Flexibility classes!

These classes are designed to improve your overall mobility, enhance your splits, backbends, and shoulder flexibility, and build the strength needed for safe and controlled stretches. Perfect for all levels, this class combines dynamic and static stretching techniques to help you achieve your flexibility goals.

We offer two different flexibility classes. One class focuses on front splits and backbends, the other class on middle splits and straddles.

Conditioning

Build the strength, endurance, and control needed to excel in pole dancing with our Conditioning classes!

These classes focus on targeted exercises to build full-body strength, with an emphasis on core stability and upper body power. Perfect for all levels, this class helps you develop the foundation to perform tricks and transitions with confidence and ease. You have the freedom to set your own power pole goals and work steadily towards achieving them.

Open Training

During Open Training, you’re free to use the studio however you like!

Practice newly learned moves, freestyle, or focus on building strength and flexibility - it’s entirely up to you.

You’ll also have access to studio equipment and materials to support your training needs.
